6-0 BABY!!!

This was, by far, our best display of the season. We were gellin' (like Magellan). Tony Fingerle put on quite a show diggin' like maniac, and EVERYONE was playing well......so well we even let Romey sit out for the first time all season. We went 6-0 for the night, but we did have a few scares. At one point we were down 16-14, when one of our famous time-outs was called..........we came back to win the game 21-19. Where do we stand?

I can't believe it, but we are still only 1 game out of 1st place. Unfortuantely, there are 3 teams tied for 1st. We should be able to gain some ground this Sunday if we play well. Here are the current standings:

Are we there yet?!

Well, we have reached the midpoint of our season, and I have to say that I feel pretty good about our progress. We went 2-2 our first night, 6-0 last week and 4-2 last night, which makes us 12-4 for the season (I think that ties us for first in the league). We have yet to be swept by any team; we have beaten every team that has beaten us, so we know we can win. We even came back from a 13-16 deficit to come back and win (after a beautiful coach's time-out....what strategy).

This coming Sunday we will need to bring our A+ game. We could totally come away 6-0, but we would have to play masterfully (like Rome hitting to the back line while the other team is all at the net....he's so sneaky). Here he is in our last game makin' the big dig. Nice tan, dude.
